नेफ्स्कुनको साझेदारीमा सञ्चालित ‘प्रोमिस परियोजना’ अन्तर्गत संखुवासभा जिल्लाका लागि तोकिएका कर्मचारी तथा अभिकर्ता श्री पदम विनोद नीरौलाज्यूको पहलमा अनौपचारिक रूपमा सञ्चालित सामुदायिक संस्थाहरूलाई समेट्ने कार्य सुरु भएको थियो। ती संस्थाहरूमा रहेको बचतलाई सहकारीको माध्यमबाट प्रभावकारी व्यवस्थापन गर्ने परियोजनाको मुख्य उद्देश्य रहेको थियो।
सोही क्रममा संखुवासभा जिल्लाभर सहकारी स्थापना गर्ने उद्देश्यले चैनपुर बजारस्थित रेडक्रस भवनमा बुद्धिजीवी तथा सरोकारवाला समूहका जिम्मेवार व्यक्तिहरूसँग ३ पटकसम्म विचार आदानप्रदान तथा अन्तरक्रिया कार्यक्रम सञ्चालन गरियो।
त्यसपश्चात् मिति २०६८/११/२५ गते तदर्थ समितिका अध्यक्ष श्री उदय बहादुर डाँगीको नेतृत्वमा ४२ जना सदस्यहरूबाट प्रतिशेयर रु. १००/- का दरले (१ जना बराबर ५ कित्ता शेयर अर्थात् रु. ५००/-) शेयर रकम सङ्कलन गरियो। डिभिजन सहकारी कार्यालय धनकुटाबाट विनिमय स्वीकृति गराई मिति २०६८/१२/१६ गते दर्ता नं. ४०/६८/०६९ कायम गरी सहकारी ऐन २०४८ बमोजिम सिमित दायित्व भएको गाउँ विकास साकोसको विधिवत् स्थापना भई कारोबार सुरु भयो।
समुदायमा छरिएर रहेको सानो-सानो पुँजीलाई सङ्कलन गरी सदस्यहरूकै जीवनस्तर उकास्ने, उनीहरूलाई व्यावसायिक बनाउने तथा शेयर सदस्यहरूको सामाजिक, आर्थिक र सांस्कृतिक उन्नति गर्दै आत्मनिर्भर बनाउने यस संस्थाको मुख्य उद्देश्य रहेको छ। संस्थाले सहुलियत ब्याजदरमा बचत सङ्कलन तथा ऋण प्रवाह गर्दै आएको छ।
मर्सिकोर नेपाल (सफल परियोजना): मर्सिकोर नेपालका जिल्ला अधिकृत श्री थरेन्द्र नेपालज्यूले संस्थालाई भौतिक सहयोगका साथै आवश्यक सल्लाह, सुझाव, तालिम र मार्गदर्शन प्रदान गरी संस्थालाई अगाडि बढाउन अविस्मरणीय योगदान पुर्याउनुभएको छ।
वित्तीय साक्षरता कार्यक्रम: मर्सिकोर नेपालको प्रोमिस परियोजना अन्तर्गत संस्थामा आबद्ध सामाजिक संस्थाका सदस्यहरू तथा विभिन्न विद्यालयका विद्यार्थीहरूलाई वित्तीय साक्षरता र सचेतना कक्षा सञ्चालन गरिएको थियो।
सहमति संस्था (नवलपरासी): सफल परियोजना अन्तर्गत सहमति संस्था नवलपरासीले स्थापना कालदेखि नै यस संस्थालाई प्राविधिक तथा सैद्धान्तिक सहयोग पुर्याउँदै आएको छ।
सुरुवाती कार्यालय: संस्थाको प्रारम्भिक कार्यालय साविक नगरपालिका कार्यालय (हाल संयुक्त वडा कार्यालय चैनपुर ६ र ७) को भुइँतलामा २ वर्षसम्म सञ्चालन गरिएको थियो।
व्यवस्थापन तथा कर्मचारी: सुरुवाती चरणमा इन्दिरा खतिवडा खनाल (१३ महिना), इन्द्र बहादुर डाँगी (४ महिना) र भीम बहादुर कार्की (२ महिना) ले व्यवस्थापक सहयोगीको रूपमा सेवा प्रदान गर्नुभएको थियो।
मिति २०७०/०४/१० गते व्यवस्थापकको रूपमा श्री ओम नाथ गिरीज्यू नियुक्त हुनुभयो। कारोबारको विस्तारसँगै थप कर्मचारीहरू नियुक्त हुँदै हाल संस्थामा ७ जना कर्मचारीहरू कार्यरत रही सेवा प्रदान गर्दै आएका छन्।
संस्थाले समुदायमा आर्जन गरेको विश्वास र उत्कृष्ट कार्यको मूल्याङ्कन स्वरूप विभिन्न सम्मानहरू प्राप्त गरेको छ:

जिल्लामै सबैभन्दा बढी शेयर सदस्य बनाउन सफल भएकोमा २०७३ सालको राष्ट्रिय सहकारी दिवसको अवसरमा दिलकुमारी स्मृति सभा भवनमा आयोजित कार्यक्रममा संघका अध्यक्ष युवराज शाक्य र कोषाध्यक्ष राजीव श्रेष्ठबाट संस्थाका अध्यक्ष श्री नेत्र बहादुर डाँगीज्यूलाई रु. ७,०००/- नगद र प्रशंसा पत्र हस्तान्तरण।
जिल्ला संघमा सबैभन्दा बढी शेयर खरिद गर्ने संस्थाका रूपमा समेत प्रशंसा पत्र प्राप्त।
आगामी दिनहरूमा संस्थाले डिजिटल बैंकिङ सेवाको विस्तार गर्ने र सदस्यहरूका लागि थप आधुनिक, सर्वसुलभ तथा सुविधाजनक वित्तीय उत्पादनहरू सञ्चालनमा ल्याउने योजना बनाएको छ। सहकारीको सुदृढीकरणमार्फत नेपालको समग्र आर्थिक विकासमा अझ ठूलो र सकारात्मक भूमिका खेल्न सकिन्छ भन्नेमा संस्था पूर्ण विश्वास राख्दछ।
Under the 'PROMISE Project' operated in partnership with NEFSCUN, initiatives were launched to integrate informally operated community organizations in Sankhuwasabha district through the efforts of Mr. Padam Binod Niraula, an agent and staff member designated for the district. The primary objective of the project was to effectively manage the savings held in those organizations through a cooperative framework.
In line with this goal, to establish a cooperative spanning the Sankhuwasabha district, three rounds of interaction and opinion-sharing programs were conducted at the Red Cross Building in Chainpur Bazar with intellectuals and responsible representatives from stakeholder groups.
Following these sessions, on March 8, 2012 (2068/11/25 B.S.), under the leadership of Ad-hoc Committee Chairman Mr. Uday Bahadur Dangi, share capital was collected from 42 members at the rate of NPR 100 per share (5 shares per person, amounting to NPR 500 per member). After securing approval of the bylaws from the Division Cooperative Office, Dhankuta, Gaun Vikas Savings and Credit Co-operative Ltd. was officially registered on March 29, 2012 (2068/12/16 B.S.) under Registration No. 40/68/069 in accordance with the Cooperative Act 1992 (2048 B.S.), and formally commenced its financial operations.
The primary objective of this institution is to mobilize small-scale capital scattered throughout the community to raise the living standards of its members, promote entrepreneurship, and foster self-reliance by enhancing their social, economic, and cultural well-being. The institution collects savings and provides credit facilities at concessional interest rates.
Mercy Corps Nepal (SAFAL Project): Mr. Tharendra Nepal, District Officer for Mercy Corps Nepal, made an unforgettable contribution to the growth of the institution by offering physical support, along with essential advice, suggestions, training, and guidance.
Financial Literacy Program: Under Mercy Corps Nepal's PROMISE Project, financial literacy and awareness classes were conducted for members of affiliated social organizations and students across various schools.
SAHAMATI (Nawalparasi): Under the SAFAL Project, SAHAMATI, based in Nawalparasi, has provided technical and theoretical support to this institution since its inception.
Initial Office: The institution operated its initial office for two years on the ground floor of the former Municipality Building (currently the Joint Ward Office for Chainpur Wards 6 and 7).
Management and Staffing: During the initial phase, Ms. Indira Khatiwada Khanal (13 months), Mr. Indra Bahadur Dangi (4 months), and Mr. Bhim Bahadur Karki (2 months) served as Assistant Managers.
Current Operations: On July 25, 2013 (2070/04/10 B.S.), Mr. Om Nath Giri was appointed as the Manager. As business operations expanded, additional staff members were hired, and the institution currently operates with 7 employees serving its members.
In recognition of the trust built within the community and its outstanding performance, the institution has received several awards and honors:
Division Cooperative Office, Dhankuta: Awarded a Letter of Appreciation and an Excellence Certificate/Shield.
District Savings and Credit Cooperative Union, Sankhuwasabha:
Awarded NPR 7,000 in cash and a Letter of Appreciation to the institution's President, Mr. Netra Bahadur Dangi, by Union President Yuvraj Shakya and Treasurer Rajiv Shrestha during a program organized at Dil Kumari Memorial Assembly Hall on National Cooperative Day 2016 (2073 B.S.) for enrolling the highest number of share members in the district.
Received a Letter of Appreciation for purchasing the highest number of shares in the District Union.
In the coming days, the institution plans to expand digital banking services and launch modern, accessible, and convenient financial products for its members. The institution firmly believes that through the strengthening of cooperatives, it can play an even greater and more positive role in Nepal's overall economic development.

स्मार्टफोनमार्फत बचत, ऋण र कारोबार विवरण हेर्ने सुविधा सहितको मोबाइल एप सार्वजनिक गरियो।A mobile app was released allowing members to view savings, loans and transaction history from their smartphones.
राष्ट्रिय सहकारी महासंघद्वारा उत्कृष्ट सहकारी संस्थाको सम्मान प्राप्त — दशकौंको मेहनत र समर्पणको फल।Honoured as best cooperative by the National Cooperative Federation — the fruit of decades of hard work and dedication.
विप्रेषण सेवा को सेवा पनि यस संस्थाले सहयोगको पहुँच झनै सहज बलाउने छ । सेवाहरु 1 - I.M.E 2 - CT Express 3 - HIMAl REMIT 4 - SAMSARA REMIT 5 - I PAY REMIT 6 - WESTERN UNION 7 - E-SEWA 8 - REMIT2 NEPAL 9 - NEPAL REMIT 10 - KHAlTI BY IMEOnline account management and digital transaction systems were introduced, making services far more accessible.
सहकारी ऐन अन्तर्गत संस्थाको औपचारिक दर्ता र स्थापना। संस्थापक सदस्यहरूको दृढ संकल्पले यस यात्राको सुरुवात भयो।Formally registered and established under the Cooperative Act. The founding members began this journey with firm resolve.
महिला सदस्यहरूका लागि विशेष ऋण तथा तालिम कार्यक्रम शुरू गरी लैंगिक समानताको दिशामा ठोस कदम चालियो।Special loan and training programmes for women members were launched, taking a concrete step towards gender equality.
संस्थाको सुरुवात देखि संस्थाको सदस्य संख्या ऐतिहासिक रूपमा २७९७ जना पुगेको छ — समुदायको विश्वासको प्रमाण।Membership reached a historic 10,000 — a testament to the community's trust.
संस्थाको पहिलो शाखा कार्यालय स्थापना गरी आसपासका क्षेत्रमा सेवा विस्तार गरियो।The first branch office was established, extending services to surrounding areas.
सदस्यहरूमा बचत संस्कार विकास गर्न पहिलो आवधिक बचत योजना लागू गरियो।The first periodic savings plan was launched to build a culture of saving among members.

सहकारीको प्रत्येक सदस्यले आफ्नो अधिकारसँगै आफ्नो कर्तव्य र जिम्मेवारी पनि इमानदारीपूर्वक पूरा गर्नुपर्छ भन्ने भावना नै स्व उत्तरदायित्व हो।Self-responsibility is the feeling that every member of a cooperative should fulfill their duties and responsibilities honestly along with their rights.

सहकारीका सम्पूर्ण गतिविधि, नीति, निर्णय, आय–व्यय, कार्यक्रम तथा योजनाहरू सदस्यहरूलाई स्पष्ट र समयमै जानकारी गराउनु खुलापन हो।Openness means that all the activities, policies, decisions, income and expenditures, programs and plans of the cooperative are clearly and timely communicated to the members.

त्यसपश्चात् मिति २०६८/११/२५ गते तदर्थ समितिका अध्यक्ष श्री उदय बहादुर डाँगीको नेतृत्वमा ४२ जना सदस्यहरूबाट प्रतिशेयर रु. १००/- का दरले (१ जना बराबर ५ कित्ता शेयर अर्थात् रु. ५००/-) शेयर रकम सङ्कलन गरियो। डिभिजन सहकारी कार्यालय धनकुटाबाट विनिमय स्वीकृति गराई मिति २०६८/१२/१६ गते दर्ता नं. ४०/६८/०६९ कायम गरी सहकारी ऐन २०४८ बमोजिम सिमित दायित्व भएको गाउँ विकास साकोसको विधिवत् स्थापना भई कारोबार सुरु भयो।
समुदायमा छरिएर रहेको सानो-सानो पुँजीलाई सङ्कलन गरी सदस्यहरूकै जीवनस्तर उकास्ने, उनीहरूलाई व्यावसायिक बनाउने तथा शेयर सदस्यहरूको सामाजिक, आर्थिक र सांस्कृतिक उन्नति गर्दै आत्मनिर्भर बनाउने यस संस्थाको मुख्य उद्देश्य रहेको छ। संस्थाले सहुलियत ब्याजदरमा बचत सङ्कलन तथा ऋण प्रवाह गर्दै आएको छ।
मर्सिकोर नेपाल (सफल परियोजना): मर्सिकोर नेपालका जिल्ला अधिकृत श्री थरेन्द्र नेपालज्यूले संस्थालाई भौतिक सहयोगका साथै आवश्यक सल्लाह, सुझाव, तालिम र मार्गदर्शन प्रदान गरी संस्थालाई अगाडि बढाउन अविस्मरणीय योगदान पुर्याउनुभएको छ।
वित्तीय साक्षरता कार्यक्रम: मर्सिकोर नेपालको प्रोमिस परियोजना अन्तर्गत संस्थामा आबद्ध सामाजिक संस्थाका सदस्यहरू तथा विभिन्न विद्यालयका विद्यार्थीहरूलाई वित्तीय साक्षरता र सचेतना कक्षा सञ्चालन गरिएको थियो।
सहमति संस्था (नवलपरासी): सफल परियोजना अन्तर्गत सहमति संस्था नवलपरासीले स्थापना कालदेखि नै यस संस्थालाई प्राविधिक तथा सैद्धान्तिक सहयोग पुर्याउँदै आएको छ।
सुरुवाती कार्यालय: संस्थाको प्रारम्भिक कार्यालय साविक नगरपालिका कार्यालय (हाल संयुक्त वडा कार्यालय चैनपुर ६ र ७) को भुइँतलामा २ वर्षसम्म सञ्चालन गरिएको थियो।
व्यवस्थापन तथा कर्मचारी: सुरुवाती चरणमा इन्दिरा खतिवडा खनाल (१३ महिना), इन्द्र बहादुर डाँगी (४ महिना) र भीम बहादुर कार्की (२ महिना) ले व्यवस्थापक सहयोगीको रूपमा सेवा प्रदान गर्नुभएको थियो।
मिति २०७०/०४/१० गते व्यवस्थापकको रूपमा श्री ओम नाथ गिरीज्यू नियुक्त हुनुभयो। कारोबारको विस्तारसँगै थप कर्मचारीहरू नियुक्त हुँदै हाल संस्थामा ७ जना कर्मचारीहरू कार्यरत रही सेवा प्रदान गर्दै आएका छन्।

जिल्लामै सबैभन्दा बढी शेयर सदस्य बनाउन सफल भएकोमा २०७३ सालको राष्ट्रिय सहकारी दिवसको अवसरमा दिलकुमारी स्मृति सभा भवनमा आयोजित कार्यक्रममा संघका अध्यक्ष युवराज शाक्य र कोषाध्यक्ष राजीव श्रेष्ठबाट संस्थाका अध्यक्ष श्री नेत्र बहादुर डाँगीज्यूलाई रु. ७,०००/- नगद र प्रशंसा पत्र हस्तान्तरण।
जिल्ला संघमा सबैभन्दा बढी शेयर खरिद गर्ने संस्थाका रूपमा समेत प्रशंसा पत्र प्राप्त।
आगामी दिनहरूमा संस्थाले डिजिटल बैंकिङ सेवाको विस्तार गर्ने र सदस्यहरूका लागि थप आधुनिक, सर्वसुलभ तथा सुविधाजनक वित्तीय उत्पादनहरू सञ्चालनमा ल्याउने योजना बनाएको छ। सहकारीको सुदृढीकरणमार्फत नेपालको समग्र आर्थिक विकासमा अझ ठूलो र सकारात्मक भूमिका खेल्न सकिन्छ भन्नेमा संस्था पूर्ण विश्वास राख्दछ।
Under the 'PROMISE Project' operated in partnership with NEFSCUN, initiatives were launched to integrate informally operated community organizations in Sankhuwasabha district through the efforts of Mr. Padam Binod Niraula, an agent and staff member designated for the district. The primary objective of the project was to effectively manage the savings held in those organizations through a cooperative framework.
In line with this goal, to establish a cooperative spanning the Sankhuwasabha district, three rounds of interaction and opinion-sharing programs were conducted at the Red Cross Building in Chainpur Bazar with intellectuals and responsible representatives from stakeholder groups.
Following these sessions, on March 8, 2012 (2068/11/25 B.S.), under the leadership of Ad-hoc Committee Chairman Mr. Uday Bahadur Dangi, share capital was collected from 42 members at the rate of NPR 100 per share (5 shares per person, amounting to NPR 500 per member). After securing approval of the bylaws from the Division Cooperative Office, Dhankuta, Gaun Vikas Savings and Credit Co-operative Ltd. was officially registered on March 29, 2012 (2068/12/16 B.S.) under Registration No. 40/68/069 in accordance with the Cooperative Act 1992 (2048 B.S.), and formally commenced its financial operations.
The primary objective of this institution is to mobilize small-scale capital scattered throughout the community to raise the living standards of its members, promote entrepreneurship, and foster self-reliance by enhancing their social, economic, and cultural well-being. The institution collects savings and provides credit facilities at concessional interest rates.
Mercy Corps Nepal (SAFAL Project): Mr. Tharendra Nepal, District Officer for Mercy Corps Nepal, made an unforgettable contribution to the growth of the institution by offering physical support, along with essential advice, suggestions, training, and guidance.
Financial Literacy Program: Under Mercy Corps Nepal's PROMISE Project, financial literacy and awareness classes were conducted for members of affiliated social organizations and students across various schools.
SAHAMATI (Nawalparasi): Under the SAFAL Project, SAHAMATI, based in Nawalparasi, has provided technical and theoretical support to this institution since its inception.
Initial Office: The institution operated its initial office for two years on the ground floor of the former Municipality Building (currently the Joint Ward Office for Chainpur Wards 6 and 7).
Management and Staffing: During the initial phase, Ms. Indira Khatiwada Khanal (13 months), Mr. Indra Bahadur Dangi (4 months), and Mr. Bhim Bahadur Karki (2 months) served as Assistant Managers.
Current Operations: On July 25, 2013 (2070/04/10 B.S.), Mr. Om Nath Giri was appointed as the Manager. As business operations expanded, additional staff members were hired, and the institution currently operates with 7 employees serving its members.
In recognition of the trust built within the community and its outstanding performance, the institution has received several awards and honors:
Division Cooperative Office, Dhankuta: Awarded a Letter of Appreciation and an Excellence Certificate/Shield.
District Savings and Credit Cooperative Union, Sankhuwasabha:
Awarded NPR 7,000 in cash and a Letter of Appreciation to the institution's President, Mr. Netra Bahadur Dangi, by Union President Yuvraj Shakya and Treasurer Rajiv Shrestha during a program organized at Dil Kumari Memorial Assembly Hall on National Cooperative Day 2016 (2073 B.S.) for enrolling the highest number of share members in the district.
Received a Letter of Appreciation for purchasing the highest number of shares in the District Union.
In the coming days, the institution plans to expand digital banking services and launch modern, accessible, and convenient financial products for its members. The institution firmly believes that through the strengthening of cooperatives, it can play an even greater and more positive role in Nepal's overall economic development.
